Energetic, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and an authority on stage. In a nutshell, these are the characteristics my clients use when describing me.
As a moderator and presenter, I have lead numerous meetings, events and conferences over the years. I’ve been surrounded by a small student audience in an old murky warehouse, eager to start their hackathon, while a few days later I moderated a conference on innovation in the enormous Amsterdam ArenA, to an international three-day gathering of computer scientists I presented in bustling London.
Experience and intuition
Every event has its own atmosphere and dynamic. My goal remains the same: I want participants to go home revigorated. And what is great, is that I experience the energizing effect of a good event as well.
Digitization and innovation
I am a tech-savvy expert in communication, who found out at a young age I feels at home on stage and is able to connect with large audiences. A must for any good moderator. Combining hands-on experience (and failure) with training by experts, I developed my own style as a presenter.
Benefitting from my professional experience as an IT and online project manager, the events I moderate often touch upon the themes innovation, digital transformation and technology. Subjects I loves and am comfortable with. It is paramount for an event moderator, to thoroughly understand the content of keynotes and breakout sessions. As an added bonus, the IT and digital domain is often a male dominated arena which makes it fun to switch things up, being a woman.
I keep my knowledge on par through my experience as a project manager digital transformation. Over the last years, I have lead successful projects for governmental and commercial organisations. Most recently for CJIB, a Dutch governmental agency, where in a series of digitization projects I supervised the redesign of the website and their best known (or notorious) product: the traffic fine.
By combining my activities; content, entertainment and interaction come together beautifully.
